A responsible business
Environmental, Social and Governance

At Haulfryn we take an integrated approach to being a responsible business. Deeply rooted in our core values, our approach to ESG recognises the responsibility we have towards the environment, and to the lives of those whom our business touches: our team members, the communities in which we operate, as well as our customers and suppliers.

We are committed to ensuring that we care for, and protect, the natural capital of the special places in which our parks are located: creating sustainable natural environments and taking responsible steps to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.

We are also committed to caring for, and supporting, the people and communities whom our business touches. We strive for our parks to be an integral part of the communities in which they are located, actively seeking ways to support local communities, and build meaningful beneficial relationships. Developing strong, long-term relationships with our suppliers to create enduring value is a key strand of our approach, along with supporting and develop our team members to enable them to flourish and create joy for customers and local communities.

We seek to ensure that our initiatives and policies reflect our family values and enable us to create a legacy that lasts for future generations

Our Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance initiatives

As a responsible business we are developing and evolving our policies and initiatives to help us make real positive steps towards our commitments.

Nature Pledge

Whave taken on the BH&HPA’s David Bellamy Blooming Marvellous Pledge for Nature Challenge, extending our on-park initiatives that encourage wildlife to thrive.

Volunteering

All of our team members have a paid ‘volunteering day’ each year, allowing them to be able to support a local charity or cause that is important to them.

Enhanced Recycling

Our recycling facilities across all our parks and at our support office have been further enhanced, making it much easier for all our guests, residents, and team members to do the right thing.

Local Communities

We actively support the local communities in which our parks are located and make regular donations to community food banks to support those who are most in need.

Community Fund

Each of our holiday and residential parks have a community fund, enabling them to support local community projects and charities.

Energy

Initiatives are underway across our holiday parks to reduce how much electricity we use by at least 10% this year.
