Experience: Over 20 years’ experience in retail and pharmaceutical industries across multiple countries and disciplines. Formerly Managing Director of Homebase and Holland & Barrett International, Tesco UK Property Director and Tesco China COO.

Dave Murphy
Chief Financial Officer

Date of Appointment: April 2021

Experience:Over 20 years’ finance experience across hospitality, retail and manufacturing sectors both in the UK and overseas. Previously UK & Ireland Finance Director at PizzaExpress, following a variety of senior finance roles at Tesco. Dave is a chartered accountant.

Group Operations Officer

Date of Appointment: October 2013

Experience: 25 years’ experience across the Leisure and Hospitality Sectors, including working at senior operational level for Nuffield Health, De Vere Hotels and Leisure, and Bannatyne’s Health Clubs.

Cath Rowe
Group Marketing Director

Date of Appointment: March 2020

Experience: Marketing leader with extensive experience across marketing disciplines including brand and content marketing, ecommerce, marketing planning, customer loyalty, digital marketing and customer experience. Most recently Director of Digital Marketing at a global independent school groups, and prior to that held a variety of marketing, commercial and location planning roles for a leading UK multi-channel retailer.

Other current roles: Non-Executive Director of AESL a trading subsidiary of Aspire, a multi-award-winning employment charity and social enterprise.

Rob Payne
Group Commercial Director

Date of Appointment: September 2020

Experience: Board level commercial leader with a successful track record of transforming the performance of companies across industry sectors including fitness, hospitality, travel, leisure and tourism, FMCG, healthcare, purchasing and ecommerce. Formerly CEO of Best Western Hotels GB, two gym chains and Commercial Director for Bupa Care Services.

Rob Beattie
Chief Technology Officer

Date of Appointment: October 2020

Experience: Extensive background in digital product development, ecommerce and digital transformation across the financial services, technology, gambling and quick service restaurant sectors. Formerly Head of Digital at O2, Head of Transformation at Telefonica, Distribution Director at Direct Line Group and most recently Head of Product at Domino’s Pizza Group

Lisa Cole
Group HR Director

Date of Appointment: November 2020

Experience: 25 years’ experience in HR and leadership roles across several sectors including retail, logistics, automotive, technology and betting & gaming. Formerly People Director for private equity owned, Staples Solutions. Passionate about employee engagement, organisational development and culture.
