Executive Chairman

Date of Appointment to Haulfryn Group Limited: 8th November 2021

Experience: Appointed as Chairman on 18th June 2021, Adrian will now be assuming the role of Interim Executive Chairman. As the former founder and owner of Mako FX LLP/ Liquidity Pool, and the co-founder and Chairman of Cobalt, a provider of critical risk and settlement infrastructure to the Foreign Exchange and Digital Asset markets, Adrian is a leader highly experienced in driving companies to the next level.

David John
Group Operations Officer

Date of Appointment to Haulfryn Group Limited: October 2013

Experience: 25 years’ experience across the Leisure and Hospitality Sectors, including working at senior operational level for Nuffield Health, De Vere Hotels and Leisure, and Bannatyne’s Health Clubs.

Dave Murphy
Chief Financial Officer

Date of Appointment to Haulfryn Group Limited: April 2021

Experience:Over 20 years’ finance experience across hospitality, retail and manufacturing sectors both in the UK and overseas. Previously UK & Ireland Finance Director at PizzaExpress, following a variety of senior finance roles at Tesco. Dave is a chartered accountant.

Experience: Extensive background in digital product development, ecommerce and digital transformation across the financial services, technology, gambling and quick service restaurant sectors. Formerly Head of Digital at O2, Head of Transformation at Telefonica, Distribution Director at Direct Line Group and most recently Head of Product at Domino’s Pizza Group

Group HR Director

Experience: 25 years’ experience in HR and leadership roles across several sectors including retail, logistics, automotive, technology and betting & gaming. Formerly People Director for private equity owned, Staples Solutions. Passionate about employee engagement, organisational development and culture.

Experience: 23 years of experience & leadership in the leisure & hospitality sector, proven track record in proposition and product execution in the operational landscape, working for and with organisations such as David Lloyd, Esporta and De Vere Hotels.

Lauren Wagner
Head of Legal

Date of Appointment to Haulfryn Group Limited: March 2022

Experience: 17 years’ experience of commercial legal practice across a number of sectors including commercial property, financial services, the leisure industry and most recently, the healthcare sector as General Legal Counsel for an NHS Foundation Trust.
