Our Executive Team
Tim Eggar
Non-Executive Chairman

Date of Appointment: August 2022

Experience: Tim originally qualified as a barrister, before becoming an investment banker specialising in natural resource financing and then moved into politics. Tim was elected to the Commons in 1979 and held several ministerial roles until stepping down from the House of Commons in 1997 to focus on his business career.

Tim is very experienced in business and has held many Chairman roles. Currently Tim is chairman of the North Sea Transition Authority, Gipsy Hill Brewery, and RAW Charging. Tim also has significant Haulfryn experience and a very strong connection to the business as he was previously Chairman of Haulfryn between 2012 and 2018.

Patrick Howard
Chief Financial Officer

Date of Appointment: February 2023

Initially qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton in 2004, Patrick has also held a number of senior finance roles across various sectors including manufacturing and professional services.

 Most recently he was been the Finance Director of Aria Resorts, where he oversaw the growth of the platform before an eventual exit to Away Resorts, backed by CVC, in late 2021.

Paul Nicoll
Group Operations Officer

Paul is an experienced and highly successful leisure industry specialist, in both Sales and Operations. Paul is the Group Operations Director at CharterOak and prior to that held the role of Group Operations Director at Aria Resorts.

Eve West
Head of HR

Date of Appointment: August 2023

Eve has 17 years senior HR experience in roles across a wide range of industries, including professional services, manufacturing and FMCG, most recently holding the role of Head of Human Resources at Impactt Limited a Global Professional Services company. Eve lives locally to Maidenhead with her husband and 2 very spoiled cats. Eve is a huge Formula One fan, Sundays are mainly spent watching races with family and friends.

Hayley Paterson
Marketing Director

Date of Appointment: April 2023

Hayley joined as our Marketing Director in April 2023 as part of the SRG team.  Hayley has significant experience as a marketing leader with both client and agency experience, working with a variety of brands including P&O Cruises, The SUBWAY Chain, RNLI, Bournemouth Tourism, KLM, Southampton Airport and Aria Resorts.

Bobby McGhee
Chief Executive Officer

Bobby rejoined the company as CEO in Feb 23.

He has over 10 years of experience as a CEO in the industry 8 of which were at Haulfryn and the later few years led the turnaround and successful sale of Aria Resorts to CVC/Away Resorts

Prior to this Bobby held Senior roles in the leisure industry including C.O.O. at Stanley Leisure a FTSE 250 company and many Division MD roles within Granada/Compass.

Operations Development Director

Date of Appointment to Haulfryn Group Limited: January 2022

Experience: 23 years of experience & leadership in the leisure & hospitality sector, proven track record in proposition and product execution in the operational landscape, working for and with organisations such as David Lloyd, Esporta and De Vere Hotels.
